Product · Query engine
Query live enterprise data without centralizing it.
NeuronsDB is a federated AI query engine for governed, verifiable answers across databases, applications, lakehouses, documents and streams.
How it works
One question. A coordinated data plan.
- 01
Connect
Register the systems that already hold operational and analytical data.
- 02
Plan
Translate a question or SQL statement into source-aware work.
- 03
Execute
Push eligible work to each source and combine only what is needed.
- 04
Verify
Return the answer with lineage and verification evidence where supported.
Federation, precisely
Move the query before you move the data.
Traditional analytics programs often begin by copying data into a central warehouse. NeuronsDB takes a different route. It creates a logical query layer over connected systems and sends filters, projections and supported aggregations toward the sources that can execute them.
The engine can then combine the required results using a columnar execution path. This is especially useful when a business question crosses operational databases, analytical stores and non-tabular systems that were never designed to live in one place.
Zero-staging is route-dependent, not a promise that every connector and every query shape moves zero data. NeuronsDB avoids intermediate materialization on eligible execution paths and exposes the chosen plan for review.
Built for trustworthy AI
Answers remain connected to the work behind them.
NeuronsDB can accept SQL or a natural-language question. Its planning layer grounds the request in available schemas, policies and source capabilities before execution. Supported responses can include cited sources, generated SQL, lineage and verifier status.
- Source-aware query planning
- Pushdown for eligible operations
- Columnar Arrow data paths
- Single-node and distributed execution paths
- Governance and audit hooks
- Proof artifacts on supported answers
Common questions
What teams usually ask first.
Does NeuronsDB replace a data warehouse?
Not necessarily. It is designed to query across systems in place and can complement existing warehouses. The right route depends on workload shape, governance requirements and source capabilities.
Can it query more than one database?
Yes. Cross-source joins and unions are part of the federated execution model. Exact connector and operation support is validated during private-preview onboarding.
Is every answer generated by an LLM?
No. Deterministic SQL paths remain available. AI-assisted planning is used where it adds value, with verification and execution evidence kept separate from generated language.
